As the U.S. House of Representatives prepares to bring H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, to the floor for a vote this week, North Carolinians will be sharing their health care stories and urging lawmakers support legislation giving Medicare the power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices.

About the Event

WHAT: 

Health care advocates and patients from across North Carolina will host a Press Call to share their health care stories and ask lawmakers support legislation giving Medicare the power to negotiate lower prescription drug prices.

WHO:

Faisal Khan, Piedmont Rising, Deputy Executive Director will join North Carolinians, Pashondra James and DonnaMarie Woodson, as they share accounts of how high drug costs have impacted their lives.
