Piedmont Rising to Continue Highlighting the Power of Health Care Stories
Town Hall meetings held in New Bern and Wilmington will underscore what is at stake for North Carolinians’ health care.
Raleigh, N.C. — In response to recent attacks on North Carolinians’ health care, Piedmont Rising is holding a series of Health Care Town Hall meetings that will give North Carolinians across the state a platform to discuss health care concerns and urgently call attention to the fight to defend lifesaving protections.
In March, meetings will be held in New Bern and Wilmington, North Carolina. This is the latest in a series of successful health care town halls, hosted in towns across the state, including Asheville and Morganton.
Participants will receive an update on health care policy, as well as an open forum to ask questions and identify community concerns. Attendees are encouraged to share their health care stories to further humanize this important issue for North Carolina families.
