Raleigh, NC – Today, Piedmont Rising will host a press call in partnership with Poder NC in response to Senator Thom Tillis’ recent remarks blaming North Carolina’s “Hispanic population” for a rise in coronavirus cases in the state, where he falsely claimed that Hispanic and Latino North Carolinians are less likely to practice mask wearing and social distancing.
